  • SOW CATALOGUE - JANUARY
In our best cultivation tips for January you will find more about pre-cultivating, growing vegetables indoors and winter sowing outdoors and in greenhouses.

  • January is the perfect month to pre-cultivate or sow plants that have a long development time and need an early start. Just remember that the plants need extra light in the form of plant lighting, since the light from the window is too sparse at this time of year.
  • Plants that can be sown in January

    Chili
    Bell pepper
    Artichokes
    Verbena
    Geranium

  • In January, there are also good opportunities to stratify seeds, which means giving the seeds that require a cold period to germinate the treatment they need. Just place the newly sown seeds outside for a couple of weeks before bringing them back in. If they don't germinate on the first try, there is plenty of time to try again.
