Zinnia elegans

Zinnia with large double and semi-double pink/lavender flowers. The flowers attract beneficial insects to the garden. A nice feature in the border and bouquets. Can also be grown in pots. Very easy to grow. Remove wilted flowers as you go and it will flower all summer. Thrives in nutrient-rich, loose soil. Does not want to dry out. Can also be sown on the site in May/June. Cultivation: Pre-cultivated. Sow sparsely in moist seed soil. Place in a bright spot and keep moist. Transplant to 1 plant/pot with fertilized soil when the plants are large enough to handle. Keep bright and cool. Plant out when the risk of night frost is over.
