Repeat sowing every two weeks to ensure a supply of fresh, crisp lettuce leaves throughout the summer. Thin out before the plants start to crowd and then harvest leaves as you go. Can also be grown in pots on a balcony, for example. Thrives in a rich, moisture-retaining and well-drained soil. Water regularly.
