Sallat, Bladbatavia-, Lollo Ro

A cross between leaf lettuce and head lettuce. The leaves form dense rosettes of crisp and crinkly green leaves. Turns reddish, especially at the edges. Repeated sowing gives fresh leaves throughout the summer. Thinning harvest and then harvest (approx. 2 months after sowing) whole plants gradually. Thrives best in moldy and well-drained soil that retains moisture. Water regularly.
