Rova, Maj-, Snowball

A delicate, fast-growing cabbage plant that is used in the same way as turnips or eaten fresh like radishes. The variety produces white round-flat-round tubers with a sweet taste. Should be sown in batches to always have tender and fine turnips. Thrives on most soils, preferably clay soil. Like all cabbage plants, it needs plenty of fertilizer and water. Cover with fiber cloth to avoid cabbage fly infestation. Harvest young and tender tubers, "old" ones become woody and sour in taste.
