Rödbeta, Burpees Golden

Beet with a sweet and mild taste. Retains its fine yellow color when cooked. Suitable for pickling and as a raw vegetable. The young leaves are used in the same way as chard. Do not sow too early; if exposed to frost, it may flower and there will be no crop. Thrives in nutrient-rich, moldy and moisture-retaining soil. Thin early. Loosen the soil around the plants. Fertilize with potassium-rich fertilizer.
