Classic spice plant in cooking and for decoration. Harvest leaves as needed well into the fall. The plant overwinters in the south. Then gives early harvest in year 2, before flowering. Good to freeze. Thrives in nutritious and well-drained soil. Seeding tape gives seedlings at a suitable distance.
