An easy-to-grow and useful root vegetable. The main growth of the root occurs late in the summer. Therefore harvested late. The variety has long, pointed, smooth, white roots. The seed loses its germination quickly. Therefore never use old seed. Can be sown in the fall for earlier harvest next year. Thrives best on loose, loamy and sandy soil but undemanding. Water during drought.
