An aromatic and fragrant, easy-to-grow herb. The small, green leaves are used for pizza, in tomato dishes, vegetable and meat stews. Blooms with small, light blue flowers. Withstands drought well. Harvest as you go, for drying whole sprigs before the plant flowers. Tie into bouquets that are hung upside down to dry. Undemanding to grow, but preferably calcareous drier soil.
