Well known and popular old fashioned plant. Nice color mix in pink, velvet red, white and many different two-color combinations. Very durable cut flower. Biennial but will happily become "perennial" as it spreads itself. Be careful not to weed out the self-sown seedlings. Thrives in nutritious, moist soil.
