Grateful biennial "peat plant". Sturdy stems are adorned by large collections of small, double flowers in shades of red, white and pink, several bicolored. Durable cut flower. Leave the flowers to seed and they will come back every year. Be careful not to weed out the self-sown seedlings. Thrives in nutrient-rich, moist soil.
