Melon Charentais (Skal 014218) - Organic

Cantaloupe melon with firm, sweet flesh. Sow 1 seed per pot, in planting soil topped with seed soil. Set at a warm temperature, approx. 25°C, and keep the soil moist until the seeds have germinated. Then place in a cooler place. Plant out in a warm, sheltered spot, preferably in a greenhouse, when the risk of frost has passed. Pollinate with a brush for better yields. Top the main vine after 5-7 leaves, and then the side shoots after 2-3 leaves. Grow creeping or tied up.
