Beautiful bluebell with a multitude of bells along a sturdy and upright stem. The bells sit on short stems close to the stalk. The colors are clear and pure in white, pink and deep blue. St. Mary's bell is a biennial but is happy to stay in the garden, as it seeds itself. Blooms the year after sowing. Very durable and beautiful in bouquets. Undemanding plant that thrives on most soils, preferably a loose, rich soil. Water during drought.
