Popular and fast-growing climbing plant. The bell-like flowers are deep blue-violet in color and very decorative. Excellent on balcony and patio in sunny position. Needs support. Can be grown as a pot plant, for example around a large arched trellis in a sunny window. Thrives in fertilized, loose soil. Water abundantly. Tolerates a frost snap in the fall.
