An odd plant in the cabbage family, very crispy. Harvested about 14 weeks after sowing when the tubers are about 8cm large. Good to eat both raw and cooked. Thrives in a nutritious, moisture-retaining and loose soil. Water regularly. Thin out early so the plants are not crowded. Sow 2-3 rounds to have access to fresh kohlrabi for a long time.
