Fragaria x ananassa 'Tresca'
Fragaria x ananassa
Kr
Blooms and produces a harvest of tasty berries throughout the summer until the fall chill comes. In the year when the seeds are sown, flowering begins in late summer. After three years, fruiting slows down and it is time to replace the plants. Cultivation: Sow indoors in seed soil in February-March. Sow very shallowly and leave the seed in a dark and warm place. Germination takes several weeks and sprouts will appear gradually. Replant in small pots with seedling soil and plant out on the growing site in May-June. All seedlings should be grown in the same place for the sake of pollination. Should be fertilized in summer.
