A beautiful and colorful summer flower that is suitable for beds, as a cut flower and for drying. The plants grow tall with many double flowers in bright shades of yellow, red, pink, white and orange. Pinch off the first flower bud and the plant will branch out and become bushier with many more flower shoots. For best shelf life, the flowers must be harvested when the first petals begin to emerge. Take the leaves off the stems, bundle and hang upside down to dry. Thrives in porous and mold-rich soil. Water when the plant is small.
