Digitalis mertonensis

Biennial plant that thrives in partial shade - shade in moisture-retaining, rich, well-drained soil. Will readily set seeds. Best planted in groups of odd numbers. Combine with other shade-tolerant plants. Cut back after flowering and it will return for several years. The plant is poisonous.
