A fine variety of early snap bean. Produces a large crop of dark green pods. Harvest often. Tastes best about 12 cm long and slender. The pods are boiled and eaten with butter, for example. Can be frozen with advantage, slightly pre-swollen. Thrives best in well-drained, rich and moist soil in a sheltered position. Water abundantly.
