Choose a sunny location

Fruit trees need to be sunny and warm so that the fruit can become sweet and ripen quickly. Peaches and apricots are best placed against a calm and warm south-facing wall to develop best.

How to plant fruit trees

1. Use organic planting soil when planting and mix well with the existing soil.,

2. Water generously both in the planting hole and on the rootball before planting.

3. Plant the tree so that the grafting site (the "lump" on the trunk) is above ground.

4. Fill in with soil, and water well.

5. Place one or more stakes around the tree and tie securely with bands so the tree has good support in the first few years and can establish itself.

6. Most fruit trees require a planting distance of about three meters.
