The best thing about succulents is that they can survive on their own for longer periods and are rarely attacked by pests or diseases. With their stripped-down form, they set the style in any home.
Turn off succulents
As mentioned, succulents are easy-to-care-for plants that require minimal attention. They have adapted to tough conditions by being able to store water in their leaves. A bright location is preferred, but some of the thick-leaved plants also tolerate shade.
Three tips for successful thick-leaved plants:
Placement. Place the plant in a bright spot, preferably in the sun. A south-facing window is good. The plants thrive in room temperature, but prefer not to be colder than 16°C.Soil type. Sandy soil with good drainage is important to allow water to pass through easily. The soil should preferably be lean and porous.Watering. Water sparingly, preferably when the soil has dried out. Fertilizer can be used, but remember to fertilize your succulents sparingly.

Succulents are often found in mixed pots where they are combined with other species and genera. The common denominator is that they hold water in their leaves and are easy to care for.Paradise trees - thrive in sun to partial shade, watered when the soil has dried up.Aloe - thrives in sun and will dry out completely before watering. There are many different varieties of aloe to choose from.Snake plant - prefers bright light, but also tolerates partial shade. The soil should dry out easily between waterings.Echeveria - is preferably placed in the sun and watered about every other week.Mother-in-law's tongue - prefers sandy soil with a high calcium content. Let the soil dry out completely before watering.In addition, there are succulents like the string of pearls and the crown of thorns - in addition to many other varieties.

Combine succulents in pots and containers for beautiful flower arrangements. Use sandy cactus soil and place the plants in a bright location.
