Growing on the balcony
Smart solutions for easier gardening on the balcony
With plant boxes adapted for cultivation on small surfaces, it is easier to succeed. Regardless of which box you choose, the soil is important. Choose a soil type suitable for what you want to grow, and regularly add nutrients in the summer.
Herba
Herba is the cultivation bag that you open when you need it. A pot that breathes, doesn't leak, and can be folded?! The idea is not new, but we have improved it as much as possible. The pots are easy to move with handles, and the roots get air without leaking water. The medium size can even be placed in a stand. It is ideal for propagating new plants and as a reserve when moving a plant. Why not bring your favorites in Herba to the summer cottage?
Cultura
Cultura is a plant box with an inner liner that makes it easy for you to grow both berries and vegetables on the terrace. The box comes in two heights and sizes, which can be combined with trellises if you are focusing on climbing plants or need support for your plants.
Olea
Olea is a series of pots for everyone. The classic clean terracotta pots are not only uniquely simple in their timeless design. They also withstand frost and can stay outside all year round. Olea pots come in different shapes, heights, and sizes, making it easy to grow vegetables and decorate with flowers, even in very small spaces. Olea comes in full, half, and quarter sizes, as well as in different heights. You can place plants with different watering needs next to each other. It is also much easier to replace plants at different intervals without harming those that are blooming nearby. An example is mint, which is a strong grower and easily competes with other herbs in cultivation. Give the mint its own Olea pot that blends in with the others and gives the other herbs the space they need. Olea half pots stand well against a wall, balcony railings, or on steps. With a round Olea pot, the plants shine without competing with the pot. A simple and stylish design that allows the plants to shine.

Potatoes for midsummer?
Imagine that a regular container or pot with seed potatoes and purchased soil can be so exciting. We promise you that the children in the family will watch over the container all the way until midsummer.
A vitamin bomb on the balcony
Grow blueberries and lingonberries on the balcony in so-called acidic soil, e.g. rhododendron or hydrangea soil. Blueberries produce a larger crop and finer berries if you plant two different varieties on the balcony, so they can pollinate each other. The blueberry bush also turns red and beautiful in autumn, while lingonberries are evergreen and decorate the space even in the winter.
Grow good berries for the entire season
Blackberries, wild strawberries, and strawberries can be planted together. Like all berries, they need lots of sun and regular watering for the berries to become sweet and good. Plant different varieties of strawberries and wild strawberries for a longer harvest. Blackberries ripen in late summer/autumn and ensure that the summer feeling lasts a little longer. Cultura plant boxes, tall or low, are very suitable for growing berries on the balcony.
Large berry bushes
Sea buckthorn is considered a super berry that also grows wild, primarily along the coast. The berries ripen in August. They are quite firm on the bush, but contain both vitamin C and antioxidants. They have a special and relatively sour taste, and can be used for juice, jam, and as flavorings for ice cream. The bush itself is lush and gray with beautiful leaves. It can withstand both salt and wind. Plant it in large pots on sunny balconies. Sea buckthorn is unisexual, so both male and female plants are necessary to get berries. Even black currants and gooseberries can be planted in large pots on the balcony.
Apple tree on the balcony?
Of course! It works perfectly fine. The easiest is to choose a tree that doesn't grow too big, such as a columnar tree or a slow-growing tree. Varieties of cherries, apples, and pears are available.
