A new era: The Plantation's reconstruction is complete
After several months of intensive work, the reconstruction is complete, and Plantasjen, which remains the largest garden center chain in the Nordic region, is now better equipped to invite customers in for the upcoming high season.

Press release 18 February, 2025
– They say that what you survive makes you stronger. That's how we feel at Plantasjen right now. The reconstruction was necessary to make the business financially viable, and now we are through the process. Stronger, prouder and more ready than ever to welcome customers to Plantasjen, says Jesper Lien, CEO of Plantasjen Group.
The chain still has a solid network with 55 stores in Norway and 34 stores in Sweden, offering the Nordic region's widest selection of plant and garden products.
– At the same time, it is also important to say that we could not have carried out this reconstruction so successfully without the massive effort from our employees as well as significant support from our partners on the supplier and landlord side, says Lien.
A World of Gardens
Plants and gardens are so much more than soil and green spaces. It is a whole world of styles, moods and personal expressions. Last year, Plantasjen launched the style guide A World of Gardens, which allows customers to explore different garden styles inspired by everything from Mediterranean warmth and Japandi minimalism to English romanticism and Nordic simplicity.
– Plantasjen's ambition is still to be the most inspiring garden center in the Nordic region, and regardless of whether you dream of a lush, blooming oasis or a stylish and harmonious outdoor environment, there is a garden world for everyone. With a stronger and more profitable business, we can focus on inspiring and facilitating our customers' green dreams, says Lien.
